Could anyone explain what ACE4_SYNCHRONIZE is supposed to mean?  The
description in the spec, "permission to access file locally at the
server with synchronous reads and writes", doesn't mean much to me.

In particular, I wonder whether a unix-like client should routinely set
it or not.
