[] Hello,

We should clearly understand our goals. We are speaking about heterogeneous
file REDIRECTION. We are not inventing a file system. We should make sure
that varieties of file systems fit into our model and we do not leave anything
behind. For example, if NT client talks to NT server, we do not leave behind any
of 4 times that are associated with a file only because our protocol defines 3 and
their semantics do not exactly match, etc. If there are files in the world that
do not have size, server should be able to say this.

The discussion in this thread just pulls our attention from real issues.

	boris.
