This will subscribe the account from which you send the message to the ipng list.
If you wish to subscribe another address instead (such as a local redistribution list), you can use a command of the form (in the body of the message):
If you expect to be sending contributions to the list from multiple addresses, please notify ipng-owner@sunroof.eng.sun.com of *all* addresses you expect to post from. Only postings from known subscribers are re-distributed to the list without human intervention. (This is to prevent mail loops.)
To un-subscribe from ipng, send an email message to Majordomo@sunroof.eng.sun.com with the following in the body (not the subject line) of the message to:
This will unsubscribe the account from which you send the message. If you are subscribed with some other address, you'll have to send a command of the following form instead:
To post a message to the list, send it to
A mail archive is kept at ftp://playground.sun.com/pub/ipng/mail-archive
The IPng mail archives are also available via email from majordomo@sunroof.eng.sun.com. They can be obtained by send a message to majordomo@sunroof.eng.sun.com and include the following in the body of the message:
in the body of the message, where YYMM is the year and month of the archive. Alternatively including
in the body of the message will return a list of available archives.
If you don't know what address you are subscribed with, you can send the following command to see who else is on the list (assuming that information isn't designated "private" by the owner of the list):
If you want to search non-private lists at this server, you can do that by sending a command like:
This will return a list of all entries on all lists that contain string.
