I totally agree with you. We should definitely stick to MIP-related
requirements and not repeat fairly well-known requirements for QoS
mechanisms (or for any kind of protocol design for that matter) like
scalability. While it does not really hurt to restate requirements like
scalability, I think we get a more focussed discussion (and more focussed
results) if we omit these general requirements.

I again agree with you. We may want to state very general requirements
related to wireless links (Perhaps like efficient coding of messages to
preserve wireless bandwidth? This may again be a general requirement instead
of a MIP requirement), but we shouldn't really delve into access-specific
requirements.

Anyway, I think these two points that Phil brought up should help to limit
the problem space, which should increase the efficiency in our discussions.
